◘Spotify signs Call Her Daddy podcast for $60m
Music streaming giant Spotify recently nabbed Alex Cooper’s widely popular podcastCall Her Daddy podcast from Barstool Sports. It is reported that this three-year deal is valued at more than $60 million.
On Spotify, Call Her Daddy is the fifth most popular podcast, and it consistently ranks in the top 15 across all platforms.
Spotify will become the exclusive home for all past and future episodes of the show on July 21st.
Podcasts continue to be a focus for the company. Previous deals include ones with the Obamas, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and Joe Rogan. The company also acquired podcast companies including Gimlet and Anchor.
This week has had its own share of shaking moments. A few small tremors were reported in my hometown recently. It was very frightening. A back-to-back series of small earthquakes struck us on May 29 and again on June 7.
Sylhet is a small city. The reasons behind it are not yet clear, but man, it definitely made us shiver.

Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr.: 100 million dollar boxing match?
One of the biggest events of the creator economy just happened. A week of non-stop hype finally brought Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul fighting each other to an end. Since it was an exhibition fight, there was no winner. Floyd mostly held his own, landing a few big shots, while a fatigued Logan Paul struggled to hold his own in clinch positions.
Both Mayweather and Paul have given figures for how much they expect to make from sponsors–Mayweather’s aforementioned claim of $30 million, and Paul told TMZ he anticipates making around $20 million–but it’s not clear how much they might make from the event outside of partnerships. It’s been reported that Paul was slated to receive a $250,000 base salary plus 10% of pay-per-view sales, but those figures haven’t been officially confirmed.

Second, I want to document my life. I am Writer and Digital Marketer. I am in the digital marketing sector for over 10 years! Recently I joined a prominent IT company here in Bangladesh as a Digital Marketer. Here at WP Manage Ninja, I am working with our marketing team to reach new users for our WordPress plugins & themes. Now I want to document my life through this newsletter ( I am doing a podcast also, but I’ll cover that in my next emails).
I am planning to write a detailed medium post about this, so wait for few days. This is the short answer.
