♣ Thought of the Week

@dharmesh

The world is a global village now. Find a tribe of smart people and grow together.

♣ Tech

◘ How Far Can People and Technology Go to Save People?

The Rescue | Official Trailer | National Geographic Documentary Films

This is an amazing example. The thrilling, against-all-odds story of the 2018 Northern Thailand cave rescue is the subject of THE RESCUE. This captivating documentary, from Academy Award-winning filmmakers E. Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, recounts the daring operation to save twelve boys and their coach who were trapped deep inside a flooded cave, an event that gripped the world.

♣ Creator Economy

◘ The History Of The World According To Rats

Rats, now widely considered the world’s most successful invasive species, first appeared in Asia approximately 1 to 3 million years ago. These common rat species skillfully survived the Earth’s most recent ice age and eventually started cohabiting with humans, though their existence was often dictated by human needs. Max G. Levy chronicles this complex, intertwined history of humans and rats.

♣ Pop Culture

◘ How Jason Statham Got Stuck Playing Jason Statham

Jason Statham is definitely one of modern Hollywood’s go-to action stars. We know him for consistently delivering intense fight scenes, crazy car chases, and that signature tough-guy vibe. His career is huge, covering major franchises like The Transporter, Fast & Furious, and The Expendables, all built on playing the ultimate action hero.

But with the action genre constantly changing, you might wonder: how does Statham stay so relevant when he basically plays the same core role in practically every film?

We can never have enough Statham, EVER! This man is the gift that keeps on giving.

♣ Business

◘ How this Average Guy Built a $1M Business From This Starbucks

StarterStory is one of my favorite online businesses I’ve been following for a long time. Recently, the founder Pat Walls sold his business to HubSpot for millions! This video showcased how Pat started the business by grinding coffee at his local Starbucks.

I loved this quote from the video:

“Every single day, I was giving myself a chance to become lucky.”
